This was the perfect way to end out Halloween night.
I went to the Fast Times show to get away from Trick Or Treaters and do escape the start of a bad evening. They represented some of the best things about the 80s – new wave, heavy metal, hair metal and one the greatest movies ever – Fast Times At Ridgemont High. I had zero expectations of the band. From the moment they hit the stage (it seemed like they were about to play “Mr. Crowley”, but kicked into a Dead Or Alive song), I was totally cheered up.
Having a Jeff Spicoli lookalike onstage was totally gnarly. And he ripped on the guitar, too.
They guitarist dressed like Slash is an awesome guitar player. He played leads of keyboard parts of songs and it completely rocked.
The Nikki Sixx bass player was cool, too. And the least known character…
