Once the George Lynch guitar clinic in Ventura County finished up, I headed out to Sherman Oaks to see the Phil Soussan band at Cafe Cordiale.  I sat down for dinner and they started to play.   I was one of the few people there at the start of the show.  This is my third time seeing Phil’s band live.   The songs are really good and the musicianship is extraordinary.  They went through their set and finished with "Shot In The Dark".   Jeff Bowders, Dave Filice, Howie Simon and Phil are definitely a band to be reckoned with.  You won’t see too many band anywhere with this much talent.

The jam after their set was great.  They played "Fire" and some other recognizable rock tunes.

The vocal highlight of the evening was Cara Lee singing "Superstition".  That was phenomenal.   She has one of the best voices I’ve ever heard.
