What a killer combo this show was. Phil X is a guitar genius and there usually isn’t a better way to spend a Monday night than with Steel Panther in Hollywood.
I finally caught Phil last month at The Whisky and his show was incredible- I bought some of his music on iTunes and have been rocking out to it since. Phil is a virtual encyclopedia of guitar playing. He also plays stuff you won’t hear anywhere else… I was equally as excited to see both bands and had a lot of fun rocking out.
I got there early and was pretty close to the stage. I enjoyed the first band- Hey You- they were having fun and it was a good time.
