DEAN ZIMMER “Drummer Wanted” Star Appears in “We’re The Superhumans” Trailer for 2016 Paralympics

DW artist and “DRUMMER WANTED”star Dean Zimmer recently flew over to England to take part in the filming and music recording of a documentary entitled “We’re The Superhumans” for the 2016 Paralympics (broadcast on Channel 4 in England).  He can be seen in the middle of the above trailer performing as the drummer in the rock band.

Zimmer was born with  arthrogryposis – a  rare condition that severely restricts joint movement in his legs and arms.

Dean’s interest in music led to him playing drums back in South Dakota where he befriended the late, great Mark Craney of Jethro Tull fame.

Since coming to Southern California, Dean has jammed with and been friends with some of the biggest names in drumming.   Dean was known locally for decades in various musical circles, clubs and venues for his incredible drumming skills and unique drumming style before his story was shared in the Award-Winning “DRUMMER WANTED” video from Ross…

Travis Moore, the artist that created the Lemmy Kilmister Statue for the Rainbow Bar & Grill to be erected in the specially constructed shrine for the Rainbow to honor the MOTORHEAD and Sunset Strip legend.

Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister, bassist and front man of Motörhead, passed away at his home in Los Angeles on December 28, 2015 just several days after his 70th birthday.

A memorial was held in his honor on January 9, 2016 at his famous hangout in West Hollywood,

The Canyon Club was the second date of their Spring tour in support of their critically acclaimed CD/DVD release “Better Late Than Never” – the music created over the years by Jon Anderson and Jean Luc Ponty with new arrangements and virtuoso performances.

The show tonight was fantastic. There was a 15 minute intermission after about an hour of performance from the band, followed by almost 2 more hours of music. Jon Anderson is a great storyteller and carries a very positive message.
