“Yeah, you know it’s always tough you know as we get older in this life we lose people and even sometimes when we are kids you know we lose people and it’s it’s really hard and with a guy like that that you had so much time with on and off stage and these incredible spiritual vibes with it’s it’s a big one when you lose somebody like that but one of the reasons why myself and a lot of the rest of us who knew Ronnie well like to do this every year is because it gets us closer with…

METALACHI CANYON CLUB AGOURA January 10, 2019

californiarocknews's avatarCALIFORNIA ROCK NEWS

Metalachi returned to The Canyon Club to perform their patented style of mariachi heavy metal and performed songs from their albums Uno, Dos and Tres.

Not only are they excellent musicians who deliver great renditions of heavy metal classics (everything from Slayer to Poison, complete with a violin solo), they also deliver a comedy show in between, and often during their songs.

We have some Transiberian Orchestra Members in the audience tonight. They play like 700 shows a year. Nobody is more happy that Christmas is over than these guys.” Haha

Pictures by David Khorsandi

They are rightfully being included on the inaugural MegaCruise set to sail this October. prior to that, thrre are many opportunities to catch them out on the road in the coming weeks and months:

Audiovent released an album a long time back that ended up in the CD collection when The Wherehouse went out of business.
Their new CD was only a few bucks on closeout and it was a good purchase.
This was sometime around the time the Nintendo Gamecube was still popular. Over the years, this album has been played over and over and is such a fantastic album.

All these years later, seeing that Audiovent was reuniting made buying a ticket a no-brainer.

The show started right around 10:00 and the band sounded fantastic. They performed their debut album and even a Tina Turner cover. The show was over before the rain started on the Strip.
It was a good crowd and a very good start to a weekend. Concert of the year so far.
