Dave Elitch Big Drum Bonanza Day 1 7/3/2013

Dave Elitch is an incredible drummer and a fantastic clinician.   He took a very interactive approach with the session, as he went from student to student and covered various techniques.   I saw him make his way to and improve the playing of three drummers in less than a minute.   He was very encouraging to all as he gave valuable feedback and shared his tricks, techniques, and drumming secrets to everyone in the class.

Stanton Moore Big Drum Bonanza day 1 7/3/2013

The morning of the first day of the Big Drum Bonanza saw the arrival of students from around the world that quickly settled in on their respective kits to receive an incredible session of instruction from the amazing Stanton Moore.    Stanton graciously shared wonderful stories of his New Orleans-rooted drumming and combined a very informative history lesson of music with his incredible style of playing.   It was a great way to kick off the session for what promises to be a great 5 day camp.
